The expo started from 29 Feb 2008 and ended 2 Mar 2008 and was organized by the FCSIT of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). During the expo, there are various seminars including a talk by the KuchingOSC, as well as InstallFest co-organized by UNIMAS Open Source Special Interest Group (OSSIG), PERTEKMA and KuchingOSC.
The seminar for our slot has been canceled due to no audience (maybe too early and no announcement prior to the seminar) but the InstallFest was a major success where lots of students and some lecturers bring in their PC and laptops to install Ubuntu as their second operating system (dual boot with Microsoft Windows).
We really hope that they not only install and leave it there but actually go in and test it out. And maybe in future able to convert totally into Linux.
